Job Summary
Senior Quality Systems Specialist leads quality reviews of complex proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements to ensure early quality involvement in program development. Develops quality budgets and cost estimates; represents the company on industry working groups to develop quality standards; advises leadership on business strategies and process improvements; conducts high-level reviews of corrective actions and implements preventive actions; analyzes performance data and develops new applications for statistical tools to improve process capability; conducts risk analyses to determine audit focus and manages audit plans. Proficient with AS9100 and DFAR; aerospace/defense contract experience; familiarity with EPES, PIMS, IQDS, MESci, Tableau and CLEaR; travel up to 10% and ability to work in a regulated environment; must be able to obtain/maintain required security clearances; relocation offered based on candidate eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years QMS experience
- 3+ years auditing QMS (product, process, or compliance)
- Ability to obtain/maintain security clearance if required
