Job Summary
Lead quality reviews of proposals, contracts, regulatory, program, and customer requirements to ensure early quality involvement in program development. Develop quality budgets, cost estimates, and company directives, policies, processes, procedures, and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory, international standards, and working agreements are deployed. Lead multi-function, multi-site groups and stakeholders in analysis of process data, metrics, models, and flows to identify root cause of complex problems and develop preventive or corrective actions. Conduct quality source selection, process capability assessments, and hardware, software, and system level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, and regulatory requirements. Train senior management on preparation for third party audits and analyze data to provide material review dispositions for complex nonconforming materials. Works under minimal direction with a 1st shift schedule, up to 10% travel, and requires a U.S. Security Clearance.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working with safety and quality processes and procedures
- 5+ years of experience reading, understanding and interpreting engineering technical information (e.g., drawings, handbooks, industry standards and specifications)
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Experience with Early Quality Involvement Tool (EQI)
- Leadership experience
- Experience with new development programs
- 5+ years of experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
- An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance Post-Start is required
- Must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest assessment process
- Subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree
- 10+ years of experience working with safety and quality processes and procedures
- 10+ years of experience reading, understanding and interpreting engineering technical information (e.g., drawings, handbooks, industry standards and specifications)
- Top Secret Clearance preferred
- Shift: This position is for 1st shift, however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives
- Shift differential may be available when on 2nd/3rd shift
- Travel: Position may require travel up to 10% of the time
