Job Summary
Senior Quality System Engineer to lead QMS execution across sites, drive software implementation and adoption of quality tools, coordinate internal/external audits, partner with cross-functional teams to meet QMS requirements, develop a roadmap for QMS tooling and capabilities, serve as a systems expert for quality data and processes, coordinate external audits and internal audits, support training modules, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in aerospace/defense manufacturing environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience in aerospace and/or defense manufacturing
- Expert knowledge of QMS requirements and auditing in a complex product environment
- Working knowledge with QMS software solutions (e.g., Net Inspect, Siemens, SAP, ETQ, One Factory, MasterControl, Compliance Quest, Hexagon, PTC, QT9)
- Hands on experience with data analytics platforms, reporting tools, and basic data visualization
- Demonstrated project management for software system implementation and onboarding suppliers and internal users
- Working knowledge of ERP, PLM, and BI systems
- U.S. Person status is required for export controlled data
- Expected travel up to 20% of the time
