Job Summary
Senior Quality Specialist at BASF in Greenville, OH (onsite) responsible for leading Six Sigma continuous improvement, CAPA investigations, and ensuring compliance with global quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, VDA 6.3). Provides expertise in defining, measuring, analyzing, improving and controlling quality across products, processes and transactions; coaches and trains associates to build quality capability; drives continuous improvement to eliminate defects, reduce costs, and improve efficiency. Core tools include Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC), data analysis, SAP QM, MiniTab, Power BI, and Lean/Six Sigma/Kaizen methods. Requires engineering/analytics/chemistry degree and minimum 3 years Black Belt experience; strong communication and leadership skills; prior experience with root-cause investigations and CAPA; ability to operate within a manufacturing quality environment.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Analytics, Chemistry or related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Black Belt
- Solid data analytics and statistical background
- IATF and MiniTab required
- Strong Project Management Skills
- Lean/Six Sigma/Kaizen training & implementation experience
- Good communication, presentation, coaching, teaching, and interpersonal skills
- History of Six Sigma Projects, Lean Manufacturing, IATF audits, Core Tools, CSR
