Job Summary
Senior Quality Program Manager for Mergers and Acquisitions ICT leads integration quality plans and diligence activities for target companies. The role ensures patient safety considerations are embedded in diligence assessments, integration plans, and follow-up monitoring, evaluates target quality systems for gaps and risks, and coordinates cross-functional teams to develop mitigation strategies for post-acquisition integration. The position requires building relationships with stakeholders across functions, coaching internal teams and external partners, and coordinating globally with time-zone-diverse partners. Travel is approximately 10%. The role emphasizes application of structured product development practices (requirements-driven engineering, documentation, verification, and risk management including DFMEA and PFMEA), and requires strong communication and influence to align program objectives and execution. A degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field (Level 8) and substantial relevant experience are required. Ireland-based posting with Galway location; Maltese/Irish salary range provided for the market.
Required Qualifications
- Degree at Level 8 in Engineering, Science, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, or 5 years with advanced degree
- Medical device development experience preferred
- Knowledge of design controls and related documentation (DHF, DD, etc.)
- Ability to collaborate across R&D, IT, RA and other functions involved in M&A
Desired Qualifications
- Experience leading quality programs in mergers and acquisitions
- Strong understanding of design controls, DFMEA/PFMEA, and medical device development processes
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams (R&D, IT, RA, QA) across multiple time zones
- Excellent written and verbal communication and influencing skills
- Experience in diligence assessments and post-acquisition integration
- Ability to travel ~10%
