Job Summary
Develop and manage Project Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) to ensure compliance with project specifications and codes. Lead quality inspections and testing activities for welding, piping systems, structural steel, and mechanical equipment, including coordinating Non-Destructive Examination and verifying materials through MTR reviews. Perform and document inspections while managing non-conformance reports, pressure test packages, and subcontractor audits. Verify trade certifications, permits, and testing activities to ensure project readiness, then conduct final client walkdowns and project turnover. This temporary shutdown assignment outside Saskatoon runs through September 2026 with a straight work schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education
- Trade certification (min CWB Level 1)
- 5+ years of experience in a Project Quality Inspector role or similar
- Knowledge of quality management systems
- Knowledge of inspections
- Knowledge of construction codes
- Experience with PSQPs
- Experience with ITPs
- Experience with testing
- Experience with quality documentation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Proficiency with quality tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail
