Job Summary
Senior Quality Engineer responsible for managing and improving the local QMS in collaboration with the leadership team, leading ISO 9001 audits and CAPA programs, and coaching process owners on quality policies. Drive operational quality through contract reviews, quality inspections, and documentation packages for product shipments. Lead customer claims management and manage supplier non-conformities. Maintain documentation, conduct internal and supplier audits, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Requires a degree in engineering (BEng/MEng or equivalent) and typically 2+ years of related experience; proficient in CAD/FEA/CFD, MS Office, and fluent in English. May pursue professional membership/chartership (e.g., MIMechE, CEng). Location: Madrid, Spain; in-person work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BEng, MEng or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years related experience
- Fluent in English (written/spoken)
- Experience with Quality Management System activities including audits (ISO 9001) and CAPA
- Ability to train and coach process owners on quality policies and procedures
- Knowledge of quality documentation and reporting for product shipments
- Proficiency in CAD, FEA, CFD and MS Office/Outlook
- Experience with quality inspections and supplier quality management
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to participate in local leadership meetings and implement Global QMS
- Possession or pursuit of professional membership/chartership (e.g., MIMechE, CEng)
