Job Summary
Senior Quality Engineer to lead QA/QC for flagship infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. Responsible for strategic implementation of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and for maintaining rigorous standards aligned with Vision 2030. Lead PQMS development and ISO 9001:2015 compliance; plan and lead internal and external quality audits; review and approve Complex ITPs, Method Statements, and Material Submittals; lead root cause investigations of major quality failures and implement preventive actions; represent QA in high-level meetings with clients, authorities, and contractors; mentor junior quality engineers and inspectors; analyze quality metrics and KPIs and provide actionable insights to the Project Director; ensure adherence to international codes (ASTM, ACI, AWS) and SBC.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical)
- 7 to 10 years of experience in QA/QC roles on major construction projects
- minimum 3 years in a senior or lead capacity
- extensive knowledge of international codes (ASTM, ACI, AWS) and the Saudi Building Code (SBC)
- ability to lead audits, develop PQMS per ISO 9001:2015
- ability to review ITPs, Method Statements, and Material Submittals
- strong root-cause analysis and corrective action capabilities
- proficiency in quality management software and data analysis tools
- fluency in Arabic and English (technical writing and presentations)
- ability to mentor junior engineers and inspectors
- stakeholder liaison with clients, government authorities, and contractors
