Job Summary
Conduct quality engineering activities supporting Flow and Valve products by applying problem-solving skills to determine root causes and execute corrective and preventive actions using the 8D process. Lead cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues, drive continuous improvement via Kaizen/Lean/Six Sigma projects, and execute Design FMEA, Process FMEA, and Control Plans. Utilize statistical methodology and SPC to analyze data, establish process parameters, and perform internal and external QMS audits with timely closure of findings. Produce clear documentation including procedures, reports, and training materials while coaching teams on quality and reliability methodologies. This hybrid role requires up to 5% travel and reporting to the Quality Engineering Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or equivalent
- 5+ years of Quality / Manufacturing Engineering experience
- Customer / Supplier interaction experience
- Experience with Quality and Reliability methodologies and tools such as 8D, FAI, FMEA, DMAIC, Gage R&R, DFx, DOE, Six Sigma, etc.
- Familiarity with inspection methods, and analytical metrology plus the ability to use inspection equipment
- Must be able to come in as needed
- Up to 5% of Travel is required

Desired Qualifications
- Data analysis using Excel and Microsoft Power BI
- Technical knowledge applicable to pressure products, Electro-mechanical and Metrology/calibration
- Experience in Test Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Design Engineering
- Experience with Supplier Source Inspection and Supplier Audits
