Job Summary
Lead advanced quality initiatives by managing complex projects, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective and preventive actions to address product non-conformances. Develop and optimize quality control processes while collaborating with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to establish standards for new products and materials. Manage internal and external audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements, and drive continuous improvement using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Mentor junior engineers, analyze key performance indicators to support data-driven decision-making, and act as a liaison with customers to resolve quality issues promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Previous experience in metal working
- Extensive knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), quality control processes, and industry standards such as ISO 9001
- Strong expertise in root cause analysis, corrective action processes (CAPA), and advanced problem-solving methods (FMEA, 8D, etc.)
- Proven ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
- Experience in quality auditing and compliance with regulatory and customer-specific quality requirements
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive data-driven quality improvements
- Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of quality excellence
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams and interacting with customers
- Proficiency in quality management software, statistical analysis tools, and related technology
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality
- Proficiency within developing quality inspection plans at all levels of manufacture
- Office based role
- Regular interaction and presence in our connected manufacturing facility
