Job Summary
Senior Electrical Quality Engineer responsible for ensuring electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and quality assurance activities are performed in accordance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, applicable codes and standards, and nuclear quality expectations. Supports delivery of electrical systems across the project, maintains adherence to the Project Quality Management System (QMS) and nuclear safety culture, provides technical quality leadership, conducts surveillance, and interfaces with contractors, suppliers, and client representatives. Responsibilities include quality assurance and compliance, inspection and surveillance, non-conformance management, documentation and records, supplier and contractor management, leadership and technical support, and ensuring traceability and readiness for handover, with emphasis on ISO 9001 and nuclear quality assurance standards.
Required Qualifications
- HNC, HND, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Recognised quality qualification or equivalent industry experience
- Desirable: Lead Auditor qualification
- Nuclear industry quality training
- IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent
