Job Summary
Enhance and extend existing test automation frameworks for cloud services and APIs while building and maintaining sophisticated test environments and cloud infrastructure. Write automated tests for UI, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures, then debug complex integration issues across multi-service environments. Develop custom testing tools, adapt existing tools, and setup CI/CD pipelines with integrated testing and quality gates. Author comprehensive test plans and partner with development teams from day one to ensure scalable, secure backend systems meet customer security needs. This role supports the Aurora Platform's mission to end cyber risk within a global team of over 2,000 channel partners.
Required Qualifications
- 5-8 years in quality engineering with experience integrated within development teams
- Python / Go / Rust for test automation / scripting
- Experience with frameworks like Ginkgo / Cucumber / Pytest
- Hands-on AWS experience with infrastructure as code
- Experience validating REST APIs, Microservices, and distributed systems
- Jenkins, Docker, Terraform, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions
- Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, MCP, Webhooks, Cybersecurity principles and cloud security best practices
- Customer-focused approach to testing and quality validation
- Strong teaming and communication skills for cross-functional team collaboration across global time zones
- On-camera during all video interviews (for remote candidates)
- Authorization to receive software or technology controlled under U.S. export control laws and regulations (if applicable)
