Job Summary
Senior Quality Engineer responsible for quality and process leadership on the manufacturing floor in Abbott's Neuromodulation division; lead efforts to reduce defects through root cause analysis and CAPAs, manage NCMR processes, develop and maintain quality plans, control plans, and FMEAs, establish monitoring systems, analyze quality data, and supervise five Quality Control Inspectors while collaborating with upstream/downstream partners and supporting audits and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in manufacturing and/or regulated quality environments
- Demonstrated understanding of cross-functional business operations and quality systems
- Proven ability to solve complex problems using data analysis and sound judgment
- FDA regulatory body auditing experience
- 3 years supervisory experience
- Preferred: Master’s degree
