Senior Quality Control Engineer

Job Summary
Review and understand application requirements and stories, then report gaps to the product owner. Develop functional and non-functional test cases, including security, load, and performance scopes, while defining smoke, regression, and UAT testing boundaries. Execute manual and automated tests using AI tools to accelerate activities, prepare test data and DB scripts, and maintain evolving test suites. Identify and report defects, collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues, and manage the UAT process with the client until sign-off. Provide detailed testing status reports and advise on Go/No-Go decisions. Coach subordinates, review their work, and verify post-go-live issues. Contribute to client training and recommend enhancements aligned with the product vision.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, or Engineering or Communications, or relevant sectors
- 5+ years of experience SW testing
- Database concepts
- Experience in Scrum Software life cycle and worked with Agile teams
- Experience in Agile testing
- Professional experience with software testing methodologies (e.g., functional testing, non-functional testing, mobile testing)
- Excellent experience with test-case development and bugs reporting
- Good reporting and documentation skills
- Good experience with MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Fair experience in APIs and Mobile testing
- Fair experience in Automation testing
- Security testing
- CICD
- ISTQB Foundation certification
- Aware about AI tools that can facilitate and accelerate the daily operational activities
- Good Analytical skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong Troubleshooting skills
- Good communication skills
- Excellent English communication skills
- Team player
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Eager to learn and follow technology upgrade
- Basic leadership skills
