Job Summary
Senior Quality Control Engineer – Analytical Methods responsible for developing and validating fit-for-purpose analytical methods to ensure the performance, safety, and reliability of battery components. The role is part of the Quality Analytical Development team and involves creating robust, data-driven methods that support product qualification, root-cause investigations, and continuous improvement across our technology. You’ll collaborate with Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to prioritize method development, reduce measurement system error, and strengthen Control Plans and Response Plans for active production in FF1. This hands-on role includes leading root-cause investigations and corrective-action efforts for production issues, with a focus on instrument excursions, performance drift, and maintaining method reliability. The position requires 5+ years of quality systems experience in manufacturing, expertise in measurement system analysis, DOE, statistical tools, and process capability concepts, and a willingness to operate in a fast-paced environment. Relocation assistance is available, and the role is based at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV (near Pittsburgh, PA). This is an opportunity to contribute to scaling up battery manufacturing and advancing energy storage technology.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or similar fields is a plus
