Senior Quality Assurance PM, Mechanical – Data Center Construction

Job Summary
Manage and collaborate with project stakeholders to verify governance, track critical milestones, and ensure design standards are applied across multiple data center construction projects. Produce formal status reports, monitor supplier interfaces via weekly reviews, and provide technical support to owners, architects, and general contractors. Forecast key milestones, respond rapidly to RFIs, and offer expertise in cost control, value engineering, and constructability. Lead independent reviews of drawings, submittals, and timelines while managing local design teams per commission criteria. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in construction management or mechanical engineering with 5-7 years of experience in mechanical systems, design, or vendor equipment factory quality control. On-site presence may vary based on client needs. SOX control responsibilities may apply.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, or applicable bachelor's degree and or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant project management experience, specifically working with mechanical systems in the built environment
- Background working in design or construction with a mechanical or BMS controls experience
- Background working in a vendor equipment factory supporting quality control processes of mechanical equipment
- Background working in commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment in mission critical data centers
- Proficiency managing construction documents including BODs, specifications, contract drawings, C/D/E's, equipment submittals and RFIs
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, Project, Smartsheets, and other construction project management tools
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable
