Job Summary
Senior QA Manager to design and implement the QA strategy for a greenfield Campaign Engine product within About You's Retail Media stack. Responsible for setting testing approaches and tooling, creating manual testing frameworks for API/backend and web UI, coordinating manual/exploratory testing of campaign flows, partnering with PMs and engineers to define test coverage, owning bug triage and resolution, and acting as the quality advocate in a cross-functional team. Requires a minimum of 3 years in QA/testing of frontend applications (JavaScript) on large-scale projects, proficiency in manual testing techniques, familiarity with Jira/Confluence, strong API/backend testing knowledge, experience with TestRail, ability to quickly understand complex systems, detail-oriented test design, and strong communication in English. Fluency in English, self-starter mindset, and willingness to build processes in a greenfield environment. Remote options are hybrid in Hamburg, Germany.
Required Qualifications
- minimum of 3 years experience in quality assurance, testing and debugging of frontend applications (JavaScript) in big scale projects
- Proficient in manual testing techniques, including exploratory testing
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
- Solid understanding of API testing and backend service testing
- Strong knowledge and experience with testing tools, particularly TestRail
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical systems
- Detail-oriented with focus on test case design and user experience
- Experience with agile methodologies and delivering high quality in an agile environment
- Excellent communication skills in English
