Job Summary
Senior QA Manager for Campaign Engine leading quality assurance in a greenfield product. Define test strategy, processes, and tools; set up manual test frameworks for API/backend and Web UI; perform manual and exploratory tests for campaigns, edge cases, and partner features; collaborate with PMs and engineers to understand requirements and shape early test coverage; own bug management from triage to resolution; act as a quality ambassador in a cross-functional team. Requires 3+ years of QA, strong manual and exploratory testing skills, familiarity with Jira/Confluence, understanding of API testing and backend services, experience with TestRail, agile mindset, strong communication in English, and a self-starter attitude.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance, testing and debugging frontend applications (JavaScript) in large projects
- Proven experience with manual testing techniques including exploratory and destructive testing, as well as automated testing
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for effective collaboration and organization
- Solid understanding of API testing and backend services testing
- Strong knowledge and experience with testing tools, especially TestRail, for efficient test management and reporting
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical systems to enable efficient test and debugging activities
- Detail-oriented testing approach with focus on test-case design and business value/User Experience
- Passion for delivering innovative features quickly while maintaining high reliability standards
- Experience working in agile environments and fostering a quality mindset
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English
- Self-starter who can work without prebuilt blueprints
- Fluency in English and German language is a plus
