Senior Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary
Directs and coordinates project quality managers across multiple sites, developing and approving site quality plans that integrate customer requirements with internal procedures. Prepares quality-related procedures to meet code, jurisdictional, and customer standards while ensuring consistent implementation of the Aecon NQA-1 program. Supervises QA and QC staff, trains personnel, and maintains qualification records across active projects. Liaises with customers, regulatory authorities, and subcontractors to address quality concerns and represents the site during external audits. Identifies non-conformance issues, initiates corrective actions, and verifies dispositions. Manages departmental costs within budget and ensures projects are adequately staffed to meet specific objectives. Requires U.S. citizenship for nuclear facility access, 15+ years in nuclear QA/QC, and reporting to the Director of Quality.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship
- A graduate of a four-year engineering program from a recognized university or an equivalent combination of Education, technical training and experience
- Minimum 15 years experience in quality assurance related to the Nuclear Industry on Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Fabrication projects
- 5 Years demonstrated experience managing Quality Assurance and Quality Control staff
- Management/Leadership experience and training
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experienced in project management & execution fundamentals to support integrated project
- Computer literate in MS Office, Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
- Excellent understanding of 10 CFR50 Appendix B and 10CFR Part 21
- Excellent understanding of AWS, AISC, ACI
- Excellent understanding of ASME NQA-1
- Excellent understanding of 10 CFR 830
- Previous working experience with 10CFR50 Appendix B and 10CFR Part 21
- ASME NQA-1 Nuclear Lead Auditor Certification
