Job Summary
QA Engineer will be responsible for software testing to ensure mandatory quality standards are met before production releases. Collaborate with development to validate bugs and get them fixed, identify software defects, run test suites, and verify fixes. Track known issues and collaborate with business analysts regarding future improvements. Continuously improve test coverage and execution efficiency through automation tools like Playwright and Postman. The role supports a hybrid work model (partly from the office or remotely from home) in Kaunas, Lithuania, with a salary range of 2,460–5,790 EUR/month (converted to annual USD equivalents) and a focus on automated UI/API testing, Docker/Linux environments, and secure testing practices.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in a QA Engineer role
- Understanding of software development process
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
- Experience with the typical test methods
- Experience with GIT
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Postman)
- Experience in designing and maintaining automated test suites for UI and API
- Experience working with Docker and Linux environments is highly valued
- Working knowledge of secure testing frameworks and libraries (OWASP)
