Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for custom-built order management, infrastructure, and risk management platforms within an Agile environment. Drive continuous improvements in test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes while executing manual tests, analyzing performance results, and investigating logs for anomalies. Manage the release testing lifecycle, communicate quantitative findings to the development team, and track defect resolution to ensure products meet end-user expectations. Balance manual and automated testing strategies based on risk and complexity, utilizing Python, Selenium, and Cypress for UI and API testing.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with strong expertise in both manual and automated testing
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python, including developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and test utilities
- 5+ years of experience with UI automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks
- Ability to design and implement scalable test automation frameworks from scratch
- Strong experience testing REST APIs and microservices using tools such as Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and similar API testing solutions
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the software delivery process
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, including log analysis and root cause investigation
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum development teams and collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle
- Experience with a test management tool such as TestRail, Zephyr, etc
- Completed technical degree or equivalent professional experience

Desired Qualifications
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., Gatling, k6)
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, cloud environments, and distributed systems
- Experience with trading, financial, fintech, or crypto-related applications
- Familiarity with FIX Protocol, market connectivity, or trading systems
- ISTQB certification or equivalent QA certification
