Job Summary
Senior / Quality Assurance Engineer on the IFS Ultimo team responsible for testing changes against acceptance criteria within a Scrum framework. You will expand, improve, and maintain the Ultimo software by implementing configuration changes; notice and propose improvements to functionality; draw up specifications and acceptance criteria to test changes; configure user interfaces and reports; set up and perform automated and manual tests; report test cases and test data; and approve implemented changes prior to release/merge. The role involves using Ultimo as a development tool and contributing to a dynamic, hybrid-work environment in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Technologies include C#, .NET, Xamarin/MAUI, Azure, Kubernetes, Azure SQL, and JavaScript/TypeScript, with experience in XML, SQL, and Agile/Scrum practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology or Computer Science
- 3+ years of professional expertise in both Automation and Manual Software Testing
- Technical knowledge of XML, SQL, etc.
- Experience with software development lifecycle
- Affinity with business processes
- Command of both spoken and written English
- Familiar with the Agile / Scrum way of working
