Job Summary
Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure the quality of Specialty insurance products through manual testing and the development and execution of automated test scripts. The role emphasizes planning and executing project/release testing activities, building and maintaining the test automation framework, integrating automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline, and collaborating with teams across shores. Experience with test automation tools (Playwright, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress), scripting languages (Python, JavaScript), and API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI) is preferred. The position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 5+ years in QA in financial services and 3+ years in Commercial/Specialty insurance, with a hybrid office arrangement and the annual base pay range of $110,000-$120,000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or other equivalent years of experience/degrees
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as in a testing/QA role in the financial services industry
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Commercial and/or Specialty insurance industry required
- Exposure to different SDLCs, Agile experience is a must
- Functional Testing experience
- Strong MS Office skills
- Excellent communication including verbal, written and presentation skills
- Analytical, rigorous, with attention to detail
- Ability to quickly adapt to new situations as they develop
- Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g. Playwright, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress) is preferred
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript) and programing languages (e.g. Java, C#) is preferred
- Experience with API testing and tools like Postman and SoapUI is a plus
