Senior QE Analyst

Job Summary
Senior QE Analyst will lead and drive end-to-end quality engineering strategy for assigned initiatives and platforms, acting as an independent contributor and technical lead to understand system architecture, business workflows and testing requirements; accountable for implementing defined test strategies across the application lifecycle, leveraging automation to maximize coverage; develop and execute tests across component, integration and end-to-end levels, utilize API testing, test data and environment management, and contribute to CI/CD and DevOps practices; provide direction, coaching and development to build team capabilities in QE, Agile, DevOps and RBC processes; requires hands-on execution and leadership to deliver timely results; location in Toronto, Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Expert level SQL with ability to write stored procedures and complex nested queries
- 5+ years’ experience in QA/QE for Technology (with strong technical acumen)
- 3+ years’ experience in Unix/Linux
- minimum 2 years in test automation
- Experience in developing and implementing program/project end to end, functional and non-functional testing strategies
- Hands-on experience with Data related testing (Data Ingestion, Lineage, Quality, Transformation)
- Experience with test tools (Robot Framework, Selenium, LoadRunner, Jira) and scripting languages (Python, Bash)
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline and DevOps tools (GitHub, Jenkins, UrbanCode, Helios)
- Knowledge of web services and API testing (REST API and SOAP)
- Test Automation vision and leadership skills for innovation
- Bachelor of Science/Engineering in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
