Senior QA Technician

Job Summary
Oversee daily quality assurance operations, reviewing and verifying QA records, supervising lab testing procedures, and analyzing test results to identify trends or opportunities for improvement. Generate daily and weekly reports on wastage, downtime, and non-conformances for the Quality Assurance Supervisor. Investigate and resolve quality deviations and customer complaints by conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions. Revise SOPs and forms, manage QA Lab inventory, and maintain documentation required for audits and certifications. Serve as backup for the SQF Practitioner and provide training for new QA staff. Support internal and external audits, monthly HACCP meetings, and ensure compliance with all food safety, occupational health, and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- University degree or diploma in Food Science, Food Technology or Microbiology
- Good verbal and written English language skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Self-starter, having self-discipline and the ability to work under minimal supervision
- Detail oriented and ability to work well under pressure and with minimal supervision
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Word & Excel
- Rotational shift work
- Wearing of company provided Uniform and other Personal Protective Equipment is required as applicable
