Job Summary
Execute automation-first quality engineering for voice, desktop, and AI platforms, owning regression suites that gate weekly code deploys. Conduct rapid detection and reporting to deliver quality signals in minutes, managing load and stress coverage for latency budgets. Debug root causes across event-driven systems, WebSocket flows, and browser extensions while integrating synthetic data and traffic generation for repeatable real-time testing. Manage flake reduction in trunk-based CI/CD pipelines and evaluate AI outputs for non-deterministic features. Collaborate with dev teams to isolate failures quickly within a startup environment featuring 1-week sprints and fast-turnaround cycles.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years SDET
- writes real automation code (Go / Python)
- Automation-first is a conviction
- Master issue-isolator and root-cause debugger
- Fast regression discipline
- Comfortable in high-load testing environments
- Experience testing event-driven systems
- Experience testing WebSocket flows
- Experience testing browser extensions
- CI-native mindset
- tests wired into trunk-based CI/CD
