Job Summary
Design, document, and execute structured test plans, test cases, and edge-case scenarios for complex web, mobile, and API applications. Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing to ensure robust software delivery, while logging, tracking, and prioritizing defects with precise reproduction steps to drive root-cause analysis. Identify candidates for automation and assist in defining test flows for automated script transition. Elevate team output through test case reviews, risk assessment sessions, and mentoring mid-level and junior QA engineers on QA methodologies. This role requires 5+ years of dedicated QA experience with a focus on manual testing, deep expertise in functional and exploratory testing, and proficiency with tools like Postman, Jira, and SQL. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of dedicated experience in software quality assurance with a strong focus on manual testing
- Deep expertise in functional, regression, boundary, exploratory, and acceptance testing across web and mobile platforms
- Strong experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, Charles Proxy, or Swagger
- Prior exposure or foundational experience with automation tools/concepts (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or basic scripting)
- Proficiency with test management tools (Jira, Zephyr, TestRail) and database query languages (SQL)
- Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal)
- Mandatory experience in nearshore/offshore client-facing startup cultures
