Job Summary
Senior QA Manager leading STFC QA operations across internal and external teams, defining and executing the QA department strategy, coordinating the 3rd-party offshore QA effort, and driving a culture of quality from leadership to delivery. Responsible for managing the STFC QA Leadership team, planning an Annual Operating Plan, aligning with executive leadership, mitigating defects in live releases, and ensuring high-quality user experiences. Requires exceptional leadership, communication, attention to detail, time management, and strong familiarity with bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) and agile environments. Must be comfortable traveling to offshore team locations and coordinating across multiple high-profile releases while champions of a “Quality First” mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional leadership and managerial skills
- Excellent verbal/written communication
- Excellent time management, accountability and organisational skills
- Ability to negotiate and ensure message is heard with business understanding
- Flexible to an agile setup and multitasking
- Extensive knowledge of JIRA and/or similar bug-tracking systems
