Job Summary
Senior QA Engineer responsible for designing and developing automation/performance solutions that meet organization standards and build reliable, reusable, and maintainable automated regression suites & test harnesses; creating tools and frameworks with quality code to simplify testing scenarios; designing and developing test plans and cases based on specifications, executing tests, and reporting results; partnering with development teams to deliver quality functionality on time; acting as test lead to plan and assign tasks; guiding project staff on testing; reviewing and approving scripts, results, and defect descriptions; focusing on Web, Services/APIs, and Database testing; participating in Agile project activities; participating in architecture/design reviews with emphasis on test automation; conducting functional, system, and regression testing; capturing QA data and metrics; performing risk analysis for quality delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent (preferred)
- 8+ years of software testing experience across all testing phases
- 5+ years of experience as an Automation QA Tester
- 5+ years of automation experience using Selenium and Python
- 5+ years of Agile experience (Scrum preferred)
- Experience with SOAP and REST services and SOA architecture
- Experience using SQL to query databases
- Exposure to distributed source control systems such as Git
- Experience with test data management techniques
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) and testing of micro-services, containers, and Docker is preferred
