Job Summary
Design and execute comprehensive functional tests for Trading Platforms using Playwright and AI-augmented tools to reduce manual effort. Leverage Claude AI to automatically generate test cases, scenarios, and intelligent test locators for complex financial UIs. Analyze test failures to suggest root causes and recommend fixes while applying MCP to connect requirements systems, defect trackers, and execution logs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop test strategies, validate quality throughout the SDLC, and conduct post-release troubleshooting. Ensure Order & Trading workflows function according to requirements as the last line of defense before production releases.
Required Qualifications
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years in Quality Assurance or software testing roles
- Proven ability to design comprehensive test cases and test plans
- Strong experience in functional, regression, and integration testing
- Hands-on experience with SQL for database validation and test data queries
- Experience in project management and QA methodology
- Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. Jira and ALM)
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- Strong organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Fixed Income and/or Derivative Trading Platforms, a big plus
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
