Job Summary
Analyse business requirements and user stories to create effective test plans, then design, write, and execute detailed functional, regression, integration, and system test cases. Identify and track defects using bug-tracking tools while performing exploratory and ad-hoc testing to uncover edge cases. Validate user experience and usability, ensuring software is intuitive and accessible. Collaborate closely with developers and product owners to improve software quality, maintaining detailed documentation of testing processes and quality metrics. Ensure adherence to company standards, security, and compliance requirements while following Euronext QA practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience in software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC)
- Strong experience in Manual and automated testing practices
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps)
- Background in software testing for SAAS, Web and Mobile applications
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, or SOAP UI)
- Basic understanding of SQL queries for database validation
- Knowledge of cross-browser and cross-platform testing
- Proven experience in designing, developing and maintaining automated test frameworks using Cypress
- Experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and working with tools such as Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Docker, or similar platforms
- Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, actively contributing to Sprint ceremonies
- Ability to create comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and regression suites, ensuring high test coverage and minimal defect leakage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and prevent defect leakage
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach junior and mid-level QA engineers, including conducting code reviews for test automation
- Established QA best practices across teams, and drove quality culture beyond the immediate QA function
- Proficiency in English is a must
