Senior QA Engineer (100% Remote)

Job Summary
Senior QA Engineer responsible for designing and executing test plans, exploratory and regression testing, identifying and documenting defects, and ensuring quality across functional, regression, and performance scenarios. Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks, integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to improve testing efficiency and release quality. Must design and develop automated test cases, build test automation frameworks, execute automated functional testing, monitor results, and provide insights for quality improvements. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 5+ years QA experience (manual and automation), 3+ years in JavaScript/TypeScript/NodeJS, 3+ years in test automation design and native mobile automation, and strong knowledge of QA methodologies, CI/CD, and defect-tracking tools. Preferred ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent QA certification and experience with performance, security testing, and API testing tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, including both manual and automation testing.
- 3+ years of experience in JavaScript, Typescript & NodeJS
- 3+ years of experience in test automation design and implementation (e.g., using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent).
- 3+ years of experience in native mobile test automation design and implementation (e.g. Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, Detox, AWS Device Farm, BrowserStack App Automate, Firebase Test Lab, Sauce Labs, Kobiton, Robot Framework, BitBar, LambdaTest Mobile, HeadSpin, Fastlane, Tricentis Testim or equivalent)
- Strong collaborative skills to align testing efforts with Development, DevOps, and Product Management.
- Strong communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Language: Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
