Job Summary
Deliver large, complex projects as the sole QA on a squad, managing competing workstreams through prioritization and time management. Foster a quality-first philosophy by influencing teams to prioritize risk-based testing over traditional ticket testing. Collaborate with stakeholders and Compliance to define release strategies that balance risk, speed, and quality. Run cross-functional meetings to coordinate issues and advocate for AI tools throughout the testing lifecycle. Assess features for automation suitability and work with engineers to build stable end-to-end automation frameworks. Mentor team members on testing techniques and represent Moneybox externally in the tech community to share fresh ideas.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of broad QA experience
- a number of years in a Senior/Lead QA role
- a proven track record of fast-paced delivery
- Extensive backend testing skills
- understanding of how to test complex logic
- understanding of how to test APIs
- understanding of how to test databases
- understanding of how to test migrations
- understanding of how to test 3rd party integrations
- Deep understanding of testing Mobile apps
- Deep understanding of Web technologies
