Job Summary
Oversee test automation script development, perform code reviews, and mentor engineers on automation best practices. Write, maintain, and execute functional, browser, performance, load, and stress tests while designing comprehensive test plans and cases. Coordinate testing activities, identify and track bugs, and validate fixes with developers and product managers. Monitor debugging results and quality metrics such as defect density. Collaborate with internal teams to identify system requirements and investigate software non-conformities.
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. or College degree in software engineering or computer science
- 3-5 years of experience working in Quality Assurance and Test Automation
- Knowledge and practical experience with Java, SQL, Rest Assured, JMeter, Selenium
- In-depth knowledge and practical technical application of TDD, BDD and CI/CD
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
- Solid knowledge of Java and query (SQL, Mongo, Elasticsearch etc)
- Experience working with defect tracking systems such as Jira
- Self-motivated, with initiative and enthusiasm, willing to work hard within a remote team
- Autonomous with excellent self-learning skills
- Strong problem-solving skills, both technical and business
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think outside the box
- Self-aware, motivated, coachable, ability to collaborate with all team members
Desired Qualifications
- Software development experience with Java, Groovy, REST API, SOAP Web Service, Graph QL
- Experience with performance and/or security testing
- Experience with load, robustness and system testing tools and procedures
- Experience with HR/Financial data integrations
