Senior QA Automation Engineer - Playwright & TypeScript

Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI and API automated test suites using Playwright and TypeScript. Build and enhance automation frameworks while analyzing functional requirements to identify testing opportunities. Develop automated regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end tests, executing API automation with Postman. Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams throughout the SDLC, participating in sprint planning and Agile ceremonies. Troubleshoot test failures to improve automation reliability and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Continuously improve test coverage, framework maintainability, and execution performance within an Agile environment.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation
- Experience with Selenium and automated testing frameworks
- Strong experience with TypeScript
- Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks
- Strong knowledge of UI and API automation
- Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools
- Strong understanding of REST APIs
- Experience with Git/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools
- Strong knowledge of testing practices, including Regression, Functional, End-to-End, and Smoke Testing
- Experience with Test Planning and BDD/TDD practices
- Experience working in Agile environments, including Scrum and Kanban
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Self-driven, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Continuous improvement mindset
Desired Qualifications
- GraphQL experience is preferred
- Experience working with C#/.NET applications
- Experience with SQL and database testing
- Experience with Docker
- Experience with Azure or AWS
- Performance testing experience using JMeter or similar tools
- Experience with additional automation tools such as Cypress, TestCafe, Puppeteer, or WebdriverIO
- Experience with Pack-flow
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
