Senior QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary
Own automation architecture and evolution for WebTrader Next and Trading App epics, designing Playwright and Maestro suites for high-risk flows like auth, orders, and pricing. Integrate tests into PR and trunk workflows via GitHub Actions, partnering with Product to ensure acceptance criteria are automation-friendly while coordinating with Manual QA on scope boundaries. Maintain low-flake pipelines within two-week Scrum increments, fixing breakages from app or API changes and escalating blockers early to the Team Lead. Summarize coverage and residual risk for release stakeholders and drive tooling improvements from retrospectives. Support other engineers through templates and reviews to extend automation capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in software testing or quality engineering
- depth in test automation (Playwright, Maestro, or equivalent modern stacks)
- Proven work on mobile clients (iOS and Android) and web trading UIs
- comfortable with device/OS and browser matrices
- Ability to own epic-level automation planning in two-week Scrum
- clear reporting of risk, pass/fail, known gaps, and residual risk
- Skilled in maintainable test code, flake triage, CI integration, and reusable fixtures across sprints
- Experienced partnering with Product/Design on testable acceptance criteria and with manual QA on scope boundaries
- English at a level needed for documentation, stand-ups, and escalation
