Senior QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and TypeScript while performing regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across web and API layers. Collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and resolve issues throughout the software lifecycle, and implement and optimize test automation as part of the CI/CD pipeline for faster releases. Monitor and maintain test environments and results to ensure continuous test coverage, contributing to improving QA standards, documentation, and best practices within the team. Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives as part of an agile workflow.
Required Qualifications
- Proven professional experience in both manual and automated QA
- Hands-on experience building automation frameworks from scratch
- Strong experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Solid understanding of software development, testing principles, and Agile/DevOps workflows
- Experience testing web applications, APIs, and mobile apps
- Experience in fast-paced startup environments
- Ability to define QA strategy, processes, and standards from the ground up
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable taking ownership in a rapidly scaling environment
Desired Qualifications
- React Native experience
- Experience with performance or security testing tools
- Background in fintech or digital banking
