Job Summary
Senior QA Automation Engineer to build and maintain Python/Pytest-based testing framework, proactively applying AI-driven testing to optimize workflows and ensure high code quality. Responsibilities include developing automated tests for new features, updating existing API tests, building and sustaining a robust test automation framework, collaborating in Agile settings, utilizing tools such as Python, Pytest, Postman, Datadog, GitHub, Jira, and CI/CD pipelines, writing complex SQL queries for data-driven tests, and performing hybrid QA by also manually vetting features for high-impact automation opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- 4-5 years QA testing with at least 3+ years in API Test Automation Engineering
- Proficiency in Python (3-5+ years) or another object-oriented programming language
- Experience in writing SQL queries and working with relational databases
- Experience building and maintaining automated testing frameworks
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Pytest
- Ability to balance automated and manual QA to ensure coverage
