Senior Python Engineer, Integration

Job Summary
Take full ownership of backend features and improvements, from design through implementation, deployment, and production support. Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services using Python and Django. Build and maintain integrations with external systems, including KYC, geolocation, and payment partners, and other third-party services. Work closely with product and engineering teams to scope and deliver new integrations. Implement observability across integration flows, including monitoring, logging, and alerting. Write unit and integration tests to ensure system reliability, prevent regressions, and improve overall test coverage and testing practices. Support production issues and participate in on-call rotations. Required Qualifications
- At least 5+ years of development experience
- Python as the primary language
- strong experience in API and system integrations
- Proven experience integrating third-party APIs
- deep understanding of webhooks
- deep understanding of callbacks
- deep understanding of idempotency
- deep understanding of failure handling
- Experience with observability tools to monitor and troubleshoot production integrations
- Strong fundamentals in algorithms
- Strong fundamentals in data structures
- Strong fundamentals in concurrency
- Experience in architecture design of highly loaded and scalable solutions
- Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle
