Senior Python Developer

Job Summary
Senior Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain Python-based solutions, APIs, and integration between the company’s in-house billing platform and third-party invoicing systems. Build scalable, reliable, and secure integration solutions; participate in system architecture and design discussions to provide technical insights; ensure high code quality through testing, code reviews, and best practices; troubleshoot, debug, and optimize complex integration workflows; collaborate closely with the Project Manager to understand business requirements. Requires 5+ years of Python development, RESTful API experience, on-premise and cloud integration, AWS familiarity, SQL/NoSQL knowledge, Git/CI/CD, and experience with billing/financial systems; remote work available. Location-related notes: Kyiv, Ukraine (remote options supported).
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional Python development experience
- Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
- Experience building integrations between on-premise and cloud systems
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in complex technical setups
- Experience with billing or financial systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) is a plus
