Job Summary
Own timelines and deliverables by proactively managing scope, dependencies, and execution risks while independently designing and delivering software solutions. Build backend services and RESTful APIs aligned to designs, developing cloud-native applications on AWS. Implement workflow automation and data pipelines, contributing across the full software development lifecycle including CI/CD. Ensure solutions are production-ready through rigorous testing, documentation, and handover, acting as a reliable execution partner who escalates issues early. Prior consulting, advisory, or client-facing delivery experience is required, alongside strong Python and Java skills for enterprise environments.
Required Qualifications
- Prior consulting, advisory, or client-facing delivery experience
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments
- Proven independent delivery without close supervision
- Strong Python experience in enterprise environments
- Java (2 years)
- Experience with SQL
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Strong cloud experience (AWS)
- Strong unit and integration testing practices
- Experience with message queues (SQS, Kafka, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience building low-latency applications and CI/CD pipelines
- Capital markets experience
