Job Summary
Design, deploy, and optimize Microsoft Purview solutions for Data Classification, Information Protection, DLP, and Insider Risk Management. Drive the Purview agenda by developing data protection policies, automation workflows, and client-tailored compliance reporting. Assess client data security maturity and define executive dashboards while integrating across the broader Microsoft 365 compliance ecosystem. Collaborate with engineers on R&D and support managed service customers in maturing their data security practices. This role focuses on end-to-end implementations with a specific emphasis on agentic adoption and requires strong client-facing communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- at least three years of hands-on experience enabling security and compliance technologies in a Microsoft environment
- Strong experience with Microsoft Purview across Data Classification, Information Protection, DLP, and Insider Risk Management
- Hands-on experience implementing sensitivity labels, retention policies, and DLP rules
- Knowledge of data governance principles within the Microsoft ecosystem
- Current Microsoft certifications in compliance and security
- Strong communication skills
- confidence in client-facing settings
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of LLMs and agentic workflows, including cybersecurity risk considerations
- Understanding of Zero Trust principles as applied to data security
- Experience with risk assessment methodologies and compliance reporting
- Microsoft Certified: Information Protection Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Security Administrator Associate
- willingness to obtain Microsoft certifications within 90 days
