Job Summary
Senior Public Policy and Comment Analysis Specialist focused on analyzing public comments for federal regulatory initiatives, guiding teams on tasks and projects, and interfacing with federal agency clients to ensure high-quality deliverables. Responsibilities include detailed comment analysis, drafting/editing federal rulemaking documents and policy papers, providing day-to-day technical direction to project staff, managing tasks and small teams, budget and schedule oversight, and maintaining strong client relationships, with emphasis on cross-disciplinary collaboration across policy, economics, and legal perspectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or a related field OR Master’s degree in Public Policy or a related field (or JD, MPA) with minimum 2 years of related work experience; demonstrated experience providing comment analysis support for federal rulemakings and initiatives; U.S. Citizenship is required per federal contracts; ability to obtain and maintain a moderate-level government security clearance; 1+ years of experience on comment analysis projects related to federal regulatory programs and issues; strong analytical, organizational, time management, and decision-making skills; ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines; excellent written and oral communications; proficiency in MS Office; experience overseeing day-to-day of individuals or teams.
