Job Summary
Provide essential mental health services to students, including individual and group therapy within a brief treatment model, intake assessments, crisis intervention, and outreach programming. Engage in collaboration and mentorship in a team-oriented environment while supporting students' personal and academic success. Supervise trainees and maintain thorough documentation of client interactions. Applicants must hold a Doctorate in relevant psychology fields and be licensed as a psychologist to qualify.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate Degree from an American Psychological Association (APA) or Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) accredited program or certified equivalent in counseling or clinical psychology
- 1 year of related experience, which may include a doctoral internship
- Licensed as a psychologist
Additional Requirements
- Applicants must be licensed as a psychologist before their start date
- Applicants must obtain an Iowa psychologist license within six months of the start date
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship
