Job Summary

Lead full-cycle recruiting for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and registered nurses by executing sourcing strategies across physician-specific job boards, professional associations, and direct outreach. Screen candidates on clinical fit and credentialing readiness, coordinate interview logistics including site visits, and manage the offer process in partnership with HR and Finance. Maintain healthy pipelines for hard-to-fill roles while tracking metrics like time-to-fill and source of hire. Represent Thundermist at career fairs, residency programs, and community events to support employer branding efforts. This strategic role requires 15+ years of healthcare recruiting experience and occasional evening or weekend availability to accommodate provider schedules.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field — or equivalent experience
  • 15+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 8 years focused on healthcare or medical provider recruiting
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting physicians (MD/DO), NPs, PAs, and RNs
  • Working knowledge of provider credentialing, licensure timelines, DEA registration, and regulatory considerations that impact time-to-start
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms and sourcing tools including LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and physician-specific job boards (PracticeLink, DocCafe, NEJM CareerCenter, or similar)
  • Working knowledge of EEO, OFCCP, and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Occasional evening or weekend availability is required to accommodate provider candidates outside of clinical hours
  • Occasional travel between Thundermist sites, community events, career fairs, and residency/training program outreach may be required

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior experience recruiting for FQHCs, community health centers, or safety-net providers
  • Familiarity with NHSC, state loan repayment programs, and other provider recruitment incentive programs
  • Experience with employer branding, recruitment marketing, and career site strategy
  • Experience partnering on provider compensation modeling and offer negotiation
