Senior Proposal Writer/ Proposal Specialist

Job Summary
Develop technical proposals and qualification packages tailored to public-sector procurement requirements for Massachusetts and New England clients. Conduct daily research, gather information, and attend meetings with service line leaders to ensure proposals reflect SOCOTEC's expertise. Review assigned requests, assess requirements, and coordinate with internal Legal and Finance teams to produce complete packages. Provide quality control reviews of team member submissions and serve as a liaison with local prospects to confirm receipt and support relationship-building. Maintain client and project data in the Deltek CRM platform while collaborating with the Proposal Team Manager to refine templates and narratives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in proposal writing, estimating, and qualifications preparation
- Experience in an architecture, engineering, or consulting firm
- Public-sector experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in architecture, engineering, or related field
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Adobe InDesign)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Minimum of 4 days per week are in-office
- up to one day per week remote
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within an architecture, engineering, or consulting firm with public-sector experience
- Established knowledge of Massachusetts/New England municipalities, state agencies, and public-sector procurement processes
- Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint
