Job Summary
Senior Proposal Engineer responsible for planning and developing technical/commercial proposals to meet customer needs. Serves as the subject matter expert for the customer, sales organization, and team, with specialized knowledge of Rockwell Automation offerings and related products. Manages the full bid process from information gathering, scope definition, solution design, and costing to approvals, while coordinating with Sales, Solution Consultants, and Engineering to position and quote outcomes using the full Rockwell portfolio. Requires a Bachelor's degree in an engineering/technical field and 5+ years in estimation, proposal engineering, or related roles. Role emphasizes standardization of proposals, cross-functional collaboration, and utilization of global estimating tools; hybrid work policy is in effect with a preference for in-office presence on designated days.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering/technical field or equivalent
- 5+ years' experience as an estimator, proposal engineer or similar
- Demonstrated understanding of automation products and portfolio
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to work with internal/external customers in a collaborative environment
