Job Summary
Senior Property Manager, Retail to lead the retail Property Management team at The Well in Toronto. Oversees tenant relations, retail operations, building standards, financial performance and operational administration, with a focus on delivering a high-quality tenant and guest experience across the portfolio. Responsibilities include tenant onboarding and move-in readiness with Leasing, Operations and Tenant Coordination; coordinating tenant communications and service requests; supervising the Property Management team; coordinating supplier/contractor relationships; supporting long-term capital planning; monitoring budgets and financial reporting; lease administration and compliance; responding to after-hours emergencies; and pursuing sustainability/certification initiatives (BOMA, LEED, WELL). Requires five to seven or more years of PM experience in commercial/retail, an undergraduate degree or related diploma, strong leadership and communication skills, accounting/budgeting and building systems experience, and familiarity with Yardi; CPM/RPA/FMA designation is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Five to seven or more years of property management experience in commercial or retail buildings.
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in business administration, real estate or a related field.
- Progressive property management experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
- Proven people management experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including a proven ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Experience with accounting, budgeting and building systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
- Strong judgment, accountability and problem-solving skills.
- Team-oriented approach.
- CPM, RPA or FMA designation would be an asset.
- Knowledge of Yardi would be an asset.
