Job Summary
Lead all aspects of a single asset or portfolio of commercial, industrial, or retail properties by coordinating marketing, operations, and financial activities. Serve as the primary contact with property owners to ensure client objectives are met, while managing team response to tenant needs and delivering timely, accurate monthly reports and annual budgets. Direct lease administration activities, proactively collect rent, and oversee vendor contract compliance. Provide formal supervision to assigned team members, including recruiting, hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Ensure monthly property inspections, approve alterations and maintenance, and orchestrate emergency response drills. This 100% in-office role requires standard business hours and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5-8 years of relevant experience
- Real Estate License
- CPM or RPA professional designation or candidacy
- Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
- AP and CMMS proficiency
- Experience with commercial office, retail, and industrial properties
- Working knowledge of leases, contracts, financial instruments, property taxes, and construction
- Advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles
- Ability to forecast outcomes, prepare budgets with long-term capital plans, deliver insightful variance reports, and make financial recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive and complex information
- Demonstrated leadership experience and skills to empower teams to achieve a broad range of client and company objectives
- Currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- Travel to assigned properties as required
- Working in office during standard business hours
- Remote work or telecommuting is not an option
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education
- Knowledge of Yardi or MRI and Kardin
- CPM or RPA professional designation or candidacy preferred
