Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of apartment communities across the region, ensuring effective management of budgets, resident concerns, and compliance with regulations for affordable properties. Conduct site visits, attend property inspections, and resolve complex maintenance and leasing issues as they occur. Mentor junior property managers by providing training, leading weekly team meetings, and delivering performance coaching and succession planning. Assist with budget preparation, audit ledgers, and ensure consistent policy implementation while communicating key issues to regional managers. Travel daily between locations, occasionally staying overnight, to uphold FWM standards of curb appeal and ensure all state and syndicator inspections are closed out.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of LIHTC experience within property management
- LIHTC, HOME, and Section 8 Knowledge and experience
- Highly proficient in leading marketing and occupancy strategies
- Real Page Onesite experience
- Must be capable of walking and standing for extended periods in all weather conditions
- Ability to climb stairs for property tours and walk properties on regular basis
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
